Kamal hassan starrer Dasavatharam to be released on April 10 2008

Kamal Hassan’s much awaited movie “Dasavatharam” will now be released on 10 April 2008.This falls on a day that is just one day day before the Tamil New year day - 11 april 2008.Kamal Hassan and Asin starrer Dasavatharam will be released in Telugu (Tollywood) and Hindi (bollywood) apart from Tamil (kollywood).Dasavatharam’s will infact be simultaneously released in all three Indian languages.The total prints of Dasavatharam is expected to be around 1200.
Dasavatharam’s release date was confirmed by the producer and distributor ‘Oscar’ Ravichandran.‘Oscar’ Ravichandran added that the holiday season in India - April to June will bring in more crowds to Kamal Hassan and Asin starrer Dasavatharam.
Bollywood music star Himmesh Reshamiah has composed the music for Dasavatharam.The audio of Dashavatharam will be released by the end of February 2008.
Dasavatharam stands for 10 avatars and Kamal Haasan is playing 10 different roles in the movie.kamal Hassan has dubbed for the movie in 10 different voices as well.Kamal hassan has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues for the movie Dasavatharam.
Hot kollywood star Asin who plays the female lead opposite Kama Hassan, has rendered her own voice to her character, a typical orthodox brahmin girl, in Dasavatharam.Kamal Hassan is very impressed with Asin’s acting and her voice in the movie.
Dasavatharam also features sexy bollywood celebrity Mallika Sherawat in a a prominent role.Dasavatharam was shot in Chennai, Malaysia, USA and in Pichavaram near Chidambaram - Tamil Nadu.
