Deepshikha, bollywood actress, plays a role based on columnist Shobha De’s life in the movie ‘Bhram‘.Bhram is produced by Nari Hira, a media magnate and directed by Pawan Kaul.Bhram is slated for a March 14 2008 release.
Shobha De started her career as the editor of Nari Hira’s film magazine stardust.Shobha De became very popular by writing about the bollywood actors and actresses and their personal lives.
Deepshikha wears a look that is completely like Shobha De, in the movie Bhram.Her dressing style is based on Shobhaa De to the finest details including Shobha De’s trademark silk and chiffon saree look, bindis, and funky jewellery.
Deepshikha is called Sunita in the movie “Bhram” and is a Page 3 journalist by profession.Deepshikha(Sunita) writes spicy gossips about the rich and the famous and constantly looks out for controversies.Deepshikha (Sunita) goes all out to expose an investment banker and tarnish his image, in the movie.Milind Soman plays the role of the investment banker and Deepishka tarnishes the image of Milinid Soman in “Bhram”.
Bhavna Iyer,who was also an editor of stardust, has written the story of “Bhram”.
Deepshikha said “I am playing the character of a good looking but nosey page 3 journalist who is on the lookout for scoops and scandals. The character is stylish with classy sarees and funky jewellery. But the character is very bitchy.” and was cool in playing the role of Shobhaa De.
‘Bhram’ is a thriller movie starring Deepshikha, Milind Soman, Dino Morea, Sheetal Menon and Simone Singh.
