Himesh Reshammiya and Emraan Hashmi, bollywood actors have a rift between themselves. Emraan Hashmi is a Bhatt camp favourite and he claims that Himesh Reshammiya had built his career by lending voice to almost every film of his.
Bollywood movies like ‘Aashiq Banaya’, ‘Jhalak Dhikhalaja’ , ‘Aksar yuh Mujhe’ , ‘Aap Ki Kashish’ etc were big hits and one could easily agree with Emraan Hashmi. Emraan Hashmi, later refused to associate himself with any Himesh Reshammiya film.
Himesh Reshammiya’s Aap Ka Suroor was released on the same day as Emraan Hashmi’s Awaarapan. Awaarapan was a big budget bollywood movie but despite the good music and direction by Mohit Suri, Awaarapan was a failure in bollywood.Even banner like Vishesh films couldn’t save Awaarapan.However Himesh Reshammiya’s Aap Ka Suroor was a big success.
At a recent conference to promote Vishesh Films “Jannat”, Mahesh Bhatt readily admitted that the biggest mistake that he ever made was pitching the release of Awaarapan alongside Aap Ka Suroor. Mahesh Bhatt said, “Himesh has got that persona and has great power to draw the masses. He is at his peak and thus releasing Aawarapan alongside Aap Ka Suroor , was a big mistake”.
Mahesh Bhatt is however confident about his next Emraan Hashmi starrer.Mahesh Bhatt stated the success of the film would purely be based on word of mouth.Hence, irrespective of whether the music is good or bad, and publicity is intense or not, the movie would succeed.The story of this movie revolves around the betting world in cricket and the Bob Woolmer controversy.Cricket is a very popular sport in India and a movie revolving the controversies in this game would definitely interest Indian film lovers.Will Mahes Bhatt and Emraan Hashmi succeed this time?
