Sameera Reddy, bollywood’s glam girl is thankful to popular Bengali filmmaker Buddhadeb Das Gupta for turning her into a good actress.
Sameera Reddy worked with Buddhadeb Das Gupta in “Kaalpurush” and said, “Dada (Buddhadeb) has made me an actor. He has taught me everything about acting. He has turned me into a serious actor. I consider him as my mentor. Kalpurush has been the breaking point of my career. I have rediscovered myself as an actress”.
Sameera Reddy is currently playing an important role Anant Mahadevan’s forthcoming film on the Maoist movement, “Red Alert” and she was earlier seen in bollywood’s super hit movie “Race“.Sameera Reddy play a village girl who takes up the gun to fight against the system, in the Hindi movie “Red Alert“.sameera Reddy feels that she could play this challenging role only because of her learning from Buddhadeb Das Gupta.
Sameera Reddy is doing another bengali film with Buddhadeb and is also doing a couple of films in Telugu and Tamil (Tollywood and Kollywood).
