Sujatha, a very famous writer of stories in Tamil cinema and novels, is no more.Sujatha has also penned dialogues for innumerable kollywood films.Sujatha was admitted to Apollo hospitals chennai, two days back and he was in coma before he was declared dead.
Sujatha, whose original name is S.Ranagarajan, was aged 73.Sujatha was a very prolific writer and had written more than 200 short stories, 100 novels and innumerable stage dramas and essays.Sujatha was also the editor of Tamil weekly magazine - Kumudham.He is also credited with creating many education CDs.
Sujatha had written stories for films directed by popular directors including Mani Rathnam and Shankar.Sjuatha was infact the person, who was expected to write the dialogues for Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai starrer Robot
Sujatha’s dialogues in Tamil movies “Kannathil Muthamittaal” directed by Mani Rathnam and “Anniyan” directed by Shankar were a big hit with kollywood movie lovers.
Sujatha is known for his stories in science and fiction among the Tamil public.sujatha’s demise is very unfortunate and untimely.Sujatha leaves behind his wife and two sons.
The most less known, but popular contribution of Sujatha, was the electroninc voting machine used by the Election commision of India, in indian elections.Sujatha was the chief of the team that designed the voting machine, while he was with Bharat Electronics as GM of R & D.
