Walt Disney in talks with Kamal Hassan and Hema Malini

Walt Disney is now in direct talks with Kamal Hassan to produce a period saga, and the grapevine says that saga dates back to as far as 7th Century, and totally on his own terms.
The legendary studio, Walt Disney, which until a few years ago considered itself to be the beginning and end of animation and everything associated with animation movies, is now reaching out across the globe and is talking with a south indian actor,KAMAL HASSAN in a business deal.This would have been unimaginable just a few years ago, to any self-respecting Hollywood Studio Boss.
He wouldn't have probably heard about chennai or Tami Nadu.Now Google Earth and GPRS are his resue tools.
India,is the new fancied global destination for Hollywood.Along with Kamal Hassan, the evergreen bollywood sweet heart Hema Malini, will also play an important role in the movie.
Buzz doing rounds is that the movie is christened "MARMAYOGI" and the production launch would be in Thailand.
There are also other Disney projects currently on the anvil, especially tie-ups with Yash Raj Films and Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, ADAG's Adlabs Films, Pritish Nandy Communications, Percept and Shemaroo, Indian production houses attain added advantages with these collaborations.
Hollywood experts bring with them the production and technical expertise while they get IT skill in India at much lesser cost than they would have incurred in the US.
So,it is win-win for hollwood and the Indian production house and actors and actresses.Imagine a project that would have costed 100-125 Million US dollars on an average in US, would now be completed at a budget of US $15-25 million, with the skills and talents available in India. And it is win-win and happy-happy for all.
According to industry estimates, there are around 25 animated movies in various stages of production, slated to be released through 2008 to end of 2009.
So, all Indian movie lovers - Hot indian celebrities dot com proclaims that Hollywood is now finally coming to Bollywood.
